Marcus & Millichap recently announced the addition of multifamily investment advisors Kyle Pinkalla and David Stollenwerk to its Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) division. Pinkalla has joined IPA in San Diego as a Senior Vice President, while Stollenwerk has joined in Nashville as a Director. Both professionals have extensive experience in the industry and were previously with Northmarq.

According to John S. Sebree, Senior Vice President and Director of Multi Housing Division at Marcus & Millichap and IPA, this move strengthens their national network of expert investment advisors while also demonstrating their commitment to expanding their presence in Southern California’s San Diego and Inland Empire regions.

Prior to joining IPA, Pinkalla served as Managing Director for multifamily investment sales at Northmarq for Southern California. With over 18 years of experience in acquisition, development, and on-site management roles, he has been involved in transactions totaling more than $4 billion across various types including core properties for institutional investors.

Stollenwerk brings over 15 years’ worth of expertise working with institutional investors such as national developers,banks,pension funds,and major private investors on acquiring or disposing multifamily assets.He will now be part of IPA’s collaborative network that caters to commercial real estate brokers nationwide who are seeking opportunities within Nashville’s rapidly evolving multifamily market,says Sebree.
