Intersect Illinois has announced the addition of three new members to its board of directors: Elizabeth Buchanan, President of North American business for NielsenIQ; Richard Demirjian, President of TCCI Manufacturing; and Michael Reinsdorf, President and CEO of the Chicago Bulls. These individuals represent a diverse range of industries that thrive in Illinois and will bring valuable insights to the board.
According to Intersect Illinois Chairman John Atkinson, this diversity is what sets their state apart and makes their board unique. He expressed excitement about welcoming Liz, Richard, and Michael as advisors on business attraction while also serving as ambassadors for Illinois’ thriving business community.
This announcement comes shortly after Intersect Illinois welcomed PsiQuantum Co-founder and CEO Professor Jeremy O’Brien to its board earlier this month. PsiQuantum recently made headlines with plans to build the first U.S.-based quantum computer at the new IQMP (Illinois Quantum Microelectronics Park). As an anchor tenant at this park located in Chicago’s former U.S. Steel South Works property, PsiQuantum will play a significant role in driving economic growth within the state.
