Malubianbian, a popular Sichuan skewer hot pot restaurant, is set to open its first Washington location at Vulcan Real Estate’s Cypress apartment building. The 3,800 square foot space will be located at 922 East Yesler Way and is expected to open in 2024.

“We are thrilled to bring the renowned Malubianbian brand to Seattle and the vibrant Yesler neighborhood,” stated Geralyn Vannoy, director of commercial marketing & leasing for Vulcan Real Estate. With over 1,000 locations worldwide and four U.S. locations in California, Malubianbian (meaning “side of the road”) offers flavorful soups with customizable options for meats, fish and vegetables.

According to Arthur Tang, North American partner for Malubianbian: “Expanding into the Pacific Northwest market marks a significant milestone in our business growth. We look forward to sharing Chengdu’s original flavors with Yesler and greater Seattle.”
