**Highline Real Estate Capital Acquires Salem Gate Market in Metro Atlanta for $25.4M**
Highline Real Estate Capital has acquired Salem Gate Market, a 177,500-square-foot shopping center in Conyers, Georgia. The retail center is anchored by national brands including Academy Sports + Outdoors, Floor & Decor, and Northern Tool + Equipment.
The transaction was valued at $25.4 million. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Highline financed the acquisition in part with a $16.84 million loan provided by BankUnited. The purchase is part of Highline’s 2023 value-add fund, which has supported approximately $350 million in acquisitions across the retail, office, multifamily, and debt sectors. The fund specifically targets underperforming assets for repositioning and long-term growth.
Salem Gate Market was developed in 2021 by Tri-Land Properties and is strategically located along Highway 138 SE at the entrance ramp to Interstate 20, offering high visibility and accessibility.
With the addition of Salem Gate, Highline now owns five properties across the metro Atlanta area, including four shopping centers and one multifamily residential asset.
