**Community Hospital Corporation to Lead $400 Million Heritage Regional Medical Center Development**
The Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) will lead the development of the upcoming Heritage Regional Medical Center (HRMC), a $400 million nonprofit hospital set to be constructed near the Heritage Ranch master-planned community at the intersection of Highway 82 and FM 1417 in Sherman, Texas.
The initial phase of the project will include 100 inpatient beds and infrastructure designed to accommodate future growth in key departments such as surgery, imaging, emergency care, and outpatient services. At full build-out, the facility will be able to support up to 300 inpatient beds. The project is expected to employ more than 400 staff members in the initial phase, with future expansions increasing the workforce to over 1,000.
HRMC is a result of a collaborative partnership between CHC and a diverse group of stakeholders, including the City of Sherman, Grayson County, First United Bank, Simmons Bank, First State Bank, two major tribal nations, the WNJ Health Foundation, the Texoma Community Foundation, and Covenant Development.
ADAMS Management Services Corporation has been named the owner’s representative and will oversee the construction process. The facility’s design will be led by architectural firm ESa (Earl Swensson Associates).
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026.
