Pacific Retail Capital Partners (PRCP) and Synergy Construction, a Chicago-based development and construction firm, have begun the redevelopment of Yorktown Center in Lombard, Illinois.
The former Carson’s anchor box is being demolished to make way for a new dynamic lifestyle hub on the 12-acre parcel. This redevelopment will feature “The Square,” a green space and community park surrounded by approximately 600 residential units and new exterior-facing shops and restaurants. The Square will serve as a link between retail life at Yorktown Center and residential living.
“We are excited to announce that we have broken ground at Yorktown Center,” said Jonathan Rood, Executive Vice President of Development at Pacific Retail Capital Partners. “This project will result in multiple multifamily buildings along with The Square, thanks to the support provided by The Village throughout this process.”
At Connect Industrial Midwest 2025 on Wednesday afternoon March 5th at Joe’s Live in Rosemont IL., Michael Brennan of Brennan Investment Group will receive Connect CRE’s Lifetime Achievement Award followed by an exclusive Keynote Interview with Kevin Brennan.
