Wells Fargo recently held a grand opening for its newest bank branch in River North. This marks the first of many planned expansions in the Chicago area, with plans to open approximately 30 branches over the next few years. The expansion is part of Wells Fargo’s $175 million investment in the region, which is expected to bring about nearly 200 job opportunities.

The new branch, located at 33 W. Chicago Avenue, spans over 2,600 square feet and was built according to LEED standards. It features energy-efficient LED lighting and low-flow water fixtures as well as recycled materials and cradle-to-cradle building materials.

This event showcases Wells Fargo’s commitment to growth and sustainability within the community it serves.
