McCord Development is making significant progress on the first phase of a bio-tech campus within its Generation Park master-planned development in NE Houston. The company is investing $30 million to prepare the site for BioHub Two, which will consist of 45 acres that can accommodate life sciences uses such as large and small scale manufacturing. When complete, it will feature 500,000 square feet of manufacturing, lab and office space.

In addition to BioHub Two, McCord Development plans to build two multifamily communities nearby as well as The Commons – a 5-acre green space with standalone restaurants and cafes. Further down the road are plans for Redemption Square inside Generation Park with 300,000 square feet of retail space plus 100k sqft speculative flex industrial project plus an 8600 sqft events venue & bar adjacent thereto.
