McCord Development is advancing Houston’s Generation Park master-planned development in NE Houston with a $30 million investment in infrastructure improvements. The first phase of the project, BioHub Two, will consist of 45 acres that can be subdivided to accommodate life sciences uses including large and small scale manufacturing. When complete, it will feature 500,000 square feet of manufacturing space as well as lab and office space.
In addition to the biotech campus McCord Development is also planning two multifamily communities adjacent to BioHub Two along with The Commons – a 5 acre green space featuring free-standing spaces for restaurants and cafes. Further plans include a 100,000 square foot speculative flex industrial project plus an 8600 sq ft events venue plus bar at Redemption Square within Generation Park which will eventually house 300k sq ft retail outlets when completed.
