The upcoming opening of Galveston’s Hotel Lucine on November 10 is highly anticipated. The hotel, located at the intersection of 10th Street and Seawall Boulevard, was once home to the Treasure Isle Motel. However, the new owners have preserved some elements of its past as a motor court.

According to Culture Map Houston, Hotel Lucine has retained its midcentury charm with original concrete floors and tiles in all 61 rooms. Each room offers a view of the hotel’s pool and upper level rooms even have balconies for guests to enjoy.

Founder Keath Jacoby believes that this intimate setting sets Hotel Lucine apart from larger hotels today. She states that their goal is for guests to interact with one another in a warm and welcoming atmosphere rather than seeking privacy.

In addition to comfortable accommodations, Hotel Lucine will also feature four food and beverage options: The Fancy – an American fine-ish dining restaurant; The Den – open from breakfast until late; a rooftop bar; and The Lanai – available for private events.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at Galveston Boutique Hotel when it opens its doors this November!
