**Icon Experiences to Bring 200-Foot-Tall Observation Wheel to San Antonio**
Icon Experiences is set to introduce a new observation wheel to San Antonio as part of the ambitious, multibillion-dollar development dubbed Project Marvel. The entertainment and sports district aims to transform downtown San Antonio with a range of attractions and upgrades.
The project will feature multiple rides, including a signature 200-foot-tall observation wheel named Grandisimo, along with a central plaza, miniature golf course, and dining areas. The planned location is just west of Interstate 37 near the Shops at Rivercenter.
Unveiled in the spring of 2024, Project Marvel carries an estimated cost of more than $3 billion. It is designed to revitalize the Hemisfair area and includes proposals such as a new arena for the San Antonio Spurs, an expanded convention center, upgrades to the Alamodome, and a variety of new entertainment venues.
