DZMI Acquires Kirkwood Tower in Houston’s Energy Corridor
DZMI has acquired Kirkwood Tower, a 285,682-square-foot office property located at 11757 Katy Freeway in Houston’s Energy Corridor. With this acquisition, DZMI’s portfolio now includes nearly 2.5 million square feet of managed space, including approximately 1.5 million square feet of office properties.
Kirkwood Tower is currently more than 76% occupied. Recent leasing activity at the property includes Aethel Energy’s expansion by 14,891 square feet.
Originally constructed in 1984 and renovated in 2015, Kirkwood Tower offers a variety of tenant-focused amenities. These include a fitness center, wellness room, sauna, and rooftop jogging track. The building also features a tenant lounge, a ground-floor deli, and a lobby bank with ATM and drive-through services.
Leasing efforts at Kirkwood Tower are being led by Matthew Asvestas and Danielle Rothchild of Stream Realty Partners. Asvestas also represented DZMI in the acquisition, while Rick Goings and Jeff Hollinden of JLL represented the seller.
