Bass Pro Shops is set to open a 100,000 square-foot store on an undeveloped 13-acre site in Tucson, Arizona. This will be the company’s third location in the state and is expected to open in late 2024.

The new Outdoor World store was announced on Tuesday as the Tucson City Council unanimously approved sales-tax incentives worth $1.4 million for its construction. The company plans to invest $35.8 million into building the store and anticipates hiring approximately 128 full- and part-time employees.

The inventory at this location will cater specifically to hunting and fishing needs of the region, including a wide selection of TRACKER OFF ROAD ATVs and side-by-side vehicles.

Visitors can look forward to hands-on demonstrations and interactive activities such as “Gone Fishing,” an annual event aimed at introducing families to fishing through catch-and-release ponds, casting games, free seminars, with hopes of inspiring future conservationists.

This exciting news marks Bass Pro Shops’ expansion into Tucson with their latest superstore that promises top-notch outdoor gear for all enthusiasts.
