MakeInspires, a leading provider of STEAM classes and programs for K-12 students and adults, has recently launched its first Makerspace in New York City’s Upper East Side. According to the New York Business Journal, this 3,000-square-foot bi-level space at 1642 York Ave offers an array of interactive features such as five classrooms named after influential female figures in STEM fields and a retail area selling unique products created within the Makerspace.

With over 20 after-school programs covering diverse topics like filmmaking, coding, 3D printing and woodworking; MakeInspires NYC caters to both children on school days off with workshops. Additionally, the venue is also available for rent for birthday parties or corporate team-building events.

The deal was facilitated by KSR’s Joshua Berkun representing MakeInspires. This marks an exciting milestone as MakeInspires expands its reach into the bustling city of New York with their innovative approach towards education through hands-on learning experiences.
