The newly created federal agency, ARPA-H, has awarded Dallas’s Pegasus Park as one of its three regional hubs in a combined bid with Austin and San Antonio. Modeled after the defense research agency DARPA, the $2.5 billion initiative aims to revolutionize medical research.

The Dallas hub will focus on developing accessible and necessary health solutions that can be readily adopted by the American public. This Customer Experience hub will be physically headquartered at Pegasus Park, which is known for its biotech advancements.

Two other hubs have been awarded to Cambridge, Massachusetts (Investor Catalyst) and Washington D.C (Stakeholder and Operations). The overarching goal of ARPA-H is to solve health problems faster while ensuring equitable solutions reach the American public in a timely manner.
