Dick’s Sporting Goods is expanding its offerings in the new Dick’s House of Sport store, set to open at the Loop 101 and Maryland in Glendale. The supersized store will span approximately 100,000 square feet and feature interactive experiences for customers.

Baseball enthusiasts can now test out bats in a batting cage while golfers can practice their swing in a simulation bay. For those interested in rock climbing, there will also be climbing walls available. This move follows similar trends seen with other sports retailers like Scheel’s which recently opened an interactive location in Chandler.

The property purchased by Dick’s for this new store is situated just north of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games facility and Topgolf on the opposite side of Loop 101 from State Farm Stadium – home to the Arizona Cardinals. The company acquired this prime location last year for $10.6 million as part of its expansion plans.

With these exciting additions, customers can look forward to an enhanced shopping experience at Dick’s House of Sport without having to mention “Connect” or “Connect CRE” or “Connect LA”.
