Des Moines Industrial Complex Sells for $110 Million
The Des Moines Creek Business Park, a large industrial development in Des Moines, Washington, has been sold for nearly $110 million. The buyer is affiliated with Dallas-based PRISA USA and Prudential Global Investment Management.
The seller, Los Angeles-based Clarion Partners, originally acquired the property in 2019 for $81 million, as reported by the Puget Sound Business Journal. The business park covers more than 25 acres, located between 2021 S. 208th Street and 2341 S. 208th Street. It sits near key transportation corridors including Interstate 5 and Highway 99, offering strategic access for logistics and distribution purposes.
The campus includes three buildings totaling 552,000 square feet of industrial space. Since its development in 2016 by an entity affiliated with Panattoni, the property has changed hands multiple times. Panattoni initially sold the complex in 2016 to LaSalle Investment Management for $46.5 million. LaSalle later sold it to Clarion Partners three years later.
Current tenants at the business park include prominent names such as K2 Skis, PODS Portable Moving and Storage Containers, Taylor Farms Northwest, and Hearthside Food Solutions.
