Marcus Ervin has been named the new Senior Vice President of Multifamily Lending and Neighborhood Investments at the District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency (DCHFA). In this position, he will act as Chief Underwriter, with a focus on business development and overseeing the agency’s predevelopment construction pipelines.

Before joining DCHFA, Marcus Ervin held the role of Development Director at the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County. During his time there, he successfully acquired and developed approximately 7,000 sustainable rental housing units. Prior to that, he served as Senior Development Officer at Howard County Housing Commission where he managed acquisitions and redevelopments totaling over $250 million.

This latest addition to DCHFA’s MF Lending team further strengthens their expertise in providing quality affordable housing options for residents in Washington D.C. area communities.
