The Davis Companies and Boston Development Group have announced nearly 97,000 square feet of new lease agreements at 66 Galen Street, a purpose-built Class A life science facility in Watertown, Massachusetts. The addition of three new tenants—Labshares, NanoDx, and Psivant Therapeutics, Inc.—brings the building’s occupancy to over 95%.
Labshares, a provider of shared laboratory space for emerging biotech firms, has signed a lease for 58,000 square feet. NanoDx, which focuses on rapid point-of-care diagnostics, will occupy 20,908 square feet. Psivant Therapeutics, a biotechnology company leveraging a physics-based approach to drug discovery, has secured 18,198 square feet of space.
These tenants join existing lessee LifeMine Therapeutics and another undisclosed biotech company at the cutting-edge facility.
The leasing transactions were facilitated by Bob Richards, Ben Coffin, and Sam Crossan of JLL, who represented the building’s ownership. Sam Crossan of JLL also represented Labshares, while Stefan T. Frey of Commonwealth Commercial Advisors acted on behalf of NanoDx. Psivant Therapeutics was represented by Mitch Perez and Julia Ryan of Cushman & Wakefield.
