In September, construction will commence on a new location of the popular arcade and restaurant chain Dave & Buster’s. The company plans to invest approximately $8 million in their latest establishment at the Plaza at Fort Buckner Development in McKinney, located at 4064 W. University Drive. The 40,000-square-foot entertainment center is expected to be completed by May 2025.
Dave & Buster’s offers a variety of arcade games and food options including chicken wings, burgers, and more. This new location will be part of the Plaza at Fort Buckner development which will feature over 150,000 square feet of retail space for restaurants and entertainment venues. Developed by The Seitz Group in two phases, phase one tenants include Cava,Frost Bank,Cold Stone Creamery,Dave’s Hot Chicken,and Einstein Bros.Bagels.
The second phase is set to include CosMc’s,Coco Shrimp,and another Dave & Buster’s location among other tenants.The anticipated opening date for this exciting addition to McKinney’s retail scene was originally reported on Connect CRE.
