**Dadeland Office-to-Apartment Conversion Underway**
Keystone Property Group is actively transforming an office building into residential apartments on an 8-acre site located at 9500 South Dadeland Boulevard. The property currently includes three office buildings totaling 405,462 square feet, along with a parking garage. These structures were originally developed between 1972 and 1982.
According to the South Florida Business Journal, Miami-Dade County approved redevelopment plans in 2022, allowing for the construction of a 25-story residential tower with 365 units on the north side of the property. That initial phase has yet to begin.
The second phase, which is currently underway, involves converting the 145,441-square-foot building at 9400 Dadeland Boulevard into 121 residential units.
Keystone has now submitted a new application requesting approval for a third phase. This phase would convert 113,120 square feet of office space at 9500 Dadeland Boulevard into 90 additional residential units. The remaining office buildings on the site would continue to operate as commercial space.
