**Site Work Commences on $125M Gallery Haus Mixed-Use Development in Downtown St. Petersburg**
Demolition is set to begin at the future site of Gallery Haus, a $125 million mixed-use multifamily development in downtown St. Petersburg. The project is being spearheaded by Black Salmon and LD&D, with IGEQ joining as a venture partner.
This milestone follows the successful closing of a $6 million site-work loan secured from Osprey Capital. KAST Construction has been named general contractor for the 23-story high-rise.
Located at 155 17th Street South, Gallery Haus will offer 254 residential units and over 10,000 square feet of amenities, including coworking space and a fitness center overlooking the Pinellas Trail. A coffee shop will also be integrated into the lobby as part of the building’s ground-floor retail mix.
The site is just steps from Tropicana Field, where a proposed $6.8 billion redevelopment plan by Ellison Development, ARK Invest, and Horus Construction aims to transform the Historic Gas Plant District into a vibrant economic and cultural destination.
