**Austin’s Tallest Building, Sixth and Guadalupe, Officially Completed**
The iconic Sixth and Guadalupe tower has officially reached completion, marking a major milestone in Austin’s skyline. Standing at an impressive 865 feet, the new development is the tallest mixed-use vertical tower in the city’s history.
The project features a dynamic blend of uses, including 349 luxury residential units that sit atop over 589,000 square feet of premium office space, with ground-floor retail offering added convenience and vibrancy.
Kairoi Residential developed the upper half of the structure, which houses the apartments. Ranging in size from 600 to 1,600 square feet, the units were designed to match the luxury standards expected in such a prominent high-rise. Lincoln Property Company led the efforts on the office development side.
The building was designed by architecture firm Gensler, whose lead designer described it as three buildings seamlessly stacked on top of one another. A continuous column of glass unifies the structure visually, extending from the base all the way to the crown. The design also respects and aligns with the Texas Capitol view corridor, shaping the tower’s structure and enabling outdoor amenities to embrace panoramic views of the Capitol dome, as well as surrounding lakes and hills.
With its completion, Sixth and Guadalupe sets a new standard for vertical urban living and working in Austin.
