The Braman Center, a state-of-the-art medical facility affiliated with Mt. Sinai and Columbia University, is set to begin construction on its new $250 million complex in Miami. According to the Miami Business Journal, the center will house numerous clinical trials for cutting-edge cancer treatments and feature advanced equipment such as linear accelerators, MRI and PET/CT scanners, and a mammography center. With 55 exam rooms and 56 spaces for chemotherapy treatment along with phlebotomy stations for up to 10 patients at a time, the facility will also offer non-clinical amenities like yoga studios and physical therapy areas. The project is expected to be completed by 2025.

The development has received support from billionaire philanthropists Norman & Irma Braman.
Leading architectural firm CannonDesign has been chosen as the designer of this ambitious project while Brasfield & Gorrie will serve as general contractor.
