Colliers Mortgage, the debt financing division of Colliers | U.S., has expanded its Los Angeles-based Structured Finance Group with the recent hires of industry expert William Hyatt as Vice President for transactions and Zackary Nagel as an analyst. The group specializes in sourcing debt and equity financing for various commercial real estate asset classes across the western United States.

Based in Denver, Hyatt brings over 20 years of experience in real estate finance to his role where he will utilize his expertise to enhance relationships and lead deals involving debt and equity placement. Prior to joining Colliers, he held leadership positions at George Smith Partners and Chatham Financial where he successfully executed over $2 billion worth of interest rate protection instruments.

Nagel’s responsibilities within the Structured Finance Group include underwriting, packaging, and marketing deals. These new additions follow on from recent hires Tommy Adelson as Vice President for transactions and Jessica Mania as Vice President for research & marketing – both seasoned investment professionals.
