Trammell Crow Company (TCC) and Beacon Capital Partners have reached the final construction phase of Hyde Park Labs, a new development in Chicago. The building, located at 5207 Harper Court, will offer over 300,000 square feet of Class A lab and office space spread across nine floors. Ground-level retail and lobby areas will also be included in the project.
The first tenants are expected to move into Hyde Park Labs by early 2025. Already pre-leased for early-stage science research is a portion of the building measuring 55,000 square feet by the University of Chicago. This development marks as phase two at Harper Court which currently houses a hotel, an office building with UChicago administrative offices and retail spaces.
CBRE’s Dan Lyne and Brandon Green serve as exclusive marketing agents for this project while Elkus Manfredi Architects leads its design team along with Interactive Design Architects on board too; Power Construction handles construction work while Ujamaa serves as diversity & inclusion consulting company.
