Two of the largest companies in the flexible workspace industry are set to merge, as competitors of WeWork continue to pursue opportunities in coworking. Deskpass, headquartered in Chicago, will join forces with Breather, a subsidiary of Industrious based in New York.
The merger will expand Deskpass’s workplace solutions and network and support the growing trend towards hybrid work. Together, these companies have facilitated over 500,000 reservations for flexible workspaces. With more than 60 coworking locations throughout Chicago and spaces available in 22 countries across 220 cities worldwide.
“Deskpass and Breather have both experienced significant growth over the past two years as more companies embrace flexibility when it comes to their workspace,” stated CEO Sam Rosen. “By partnering with Industrious to operate Breather together, we are well-positioned for continued expansion and can offer innovative on-demand workspace solutions that align with evolving real estate strategies.”
