**Zeta Charter Schools Leases Temporary Space for New High School in Washington Heights**
Zeta Charter Schools has entered into a two-year lease agreement with St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, located at 517 West 164th Street in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Upper Manhattan. The approximately 35,000-square-foot space will serve as a temporary home for Zeta’s first high school.
This lease arrangement supports Zeta’s immediate enrollment needs while providing the flexibility to expand and develop its long-term high school facilities in the area. The new space will accommodate students from Zeta’s other campuses, including those in Inwood and the South Bronx.
The deal was brokered by Lindsay Ornstein and Alexander Smith of OPEN Impact Real Estate, who represented Zeta Charter Schools. The property owner, the Archdiocese of New York, was represented in-house.
“Zeta’s growth requires real estate solutions that are both mission-aligned and adaptable,” said Lindsay Ornstein, co-founder of OPEN Impact Real Estate. “This lease gives the school the flexibility it needs in the near term while supporting high-quality learning environments for its students.”
