**Centurion Secures $130.8M Construction Loan for Fort Lauderdale Medical Office Building**

Centurion Foundation, a development and financing company focused on properties for non-profits, has secured a $130.8 million construction loan to build a large medical office building in Fort Lauderdale. The loan, provided by UMB Bank as a leasehold mortgage via a tax-exempt bond, supports a major healthcare project adjacent to the Broward Health Medical Center.

The development will rise on a 1.8-acre site located at 1611 S. Andrews Avenue. Centurion holds a lease for the property with Broward Health, which is driving the creation of the new medical office space to expand its healthcare offerings.

The proposed eight-story facility is planned to span 188,000 square feet and will include 129 exam rooms, with future flexibility to expand to 237. The building will house a wide range of medical specialties, including cardiovascular services, pulmonology, primary care, gastroenterology, neuroscience, and women’s health.

Design and architecture plans are being led by The Beck Group in collaboration with DMZ Architects. The completion of the project is targeted for 2027.
