JLL Capital Markets has recently finalized the sale of Anaheim Hills Shopping Village, a thriving retail center in Anaheim spanning 67,528 square feet. The property was sold for $16.7 million and was represented by Senior Director Daniel Tyner and Managing Directors Gleb Lvovich and Geoff Tranchina on behalf of the seller – a private family partnership who also served as the original developer. The buyer, Tourmaline Capital, was also represented in this transaction.
The shopping village boasts an impressive occupancy rate of 95%, anchored by popular retailer Big Lots along with other essential daily needs stores that are resistant to online competition. Many tenants have been at this location for several years since its development in 1984 by the seller. Located at 6300 E Santa Ana Canyon Rd., this neighborhood shopping center has been a prominent fixture within the greater Anaheim Hills community.
According to Tyner, it is uncommon to see such high-quality neighborhood shopping centers being sold in Orange County which makes completing this transaction even more noteworthy for all parties involved including Tourmaline Capital as well as the original developer who built it four decades ago.
