Green Bay Packaging, a company based in Wisconsin, has announced plans to construct a new building on 80 acres of land that it recently purchased in Arizona. The site is located south of Phoenix in Casa Grande and will serve as the future location for their corrugated packaging facility.

According to the Phoenix Business Journal, Green Bay Packaging acquired this land for $16.5 million from Auza Ranches LLC. The property is adjacent to Kohler Co.’s manufacturing plant near Ethington Road and Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway, which opened earlier this year.

Currently, Green Bay Packaging operates a sales and distribution center in Tempe and has over 40 facilities spread across 16 states. With more than 4,500 employees nationwide, the company continues to expand its operations with this new development.

Representing Green Bay Packaging during the purchase were Si Pitstick and Rob Stephens of Newmark Group Inc., while Kirk McCarville and Trey Davis of Land Advisors Organization represented Auza Ranches LLC.

The opening of Kohler’s new factory for Sterling bath and shower fixtures on an adjacent property further solidifies Casa Grande as an ideal location for industrial development. This strategic move by Green Bay Packaging showcases their confidence in both the area’s economic growth potential as well as their own commitment towards expansion efforts.
