**JLL Capital Markets Expands Southern California Team**
JLL Capital Markets has enhanced its Southern California multifamily investment sales platform with the addition of Dillon Bergum as Senior Director. Bergum brings a career transaction volume nearing $6 billion, with experience across major markets including Los Angeles, New York, and throughout California. Prior to joining JLL, he was part of Newmark’s West Coast Capital Markets group, specializing in investment sales across all asset classes in Southern California.
Additionally, JLL has brought on Pat Ryan as Senior Vice President. A 13-year commercial real estate veteran in Orange County, Ryan will focus on local and multi-market corporate real estate transaction strategy.
**Passco Companies Appoints New Chief Legal Officer**
Passco Companies, a national real estate investment firm, has named Thomas (Tom) Voekler as Chief Legal Officer, effective December 8. In his new role, Voekler will oversee the company’s legal, risk, compliance, and regulatory functions. He will also support strategic growth initiatives, governance structures, and executive leadership.
**Sunstone Hotel Investors Expands Board**
Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc. has appointed Michael Barnello to its board of directors. With this addition, the company’s board now includes nine directors.
**California Association of REALTORS® Installs 2026 Leadership Team**
The California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) has announced its 2026 leadership team. Tamara Suminski, a Southern California real estate broker, will serve as President. Joining her are President-elect Mark Peterson, Treasurer Nikki Coppa, and Chief Executive Officer Phil Hawkins.
**Telescent Adds New CFO Amid Rapid Growth**
Trevor Roots has joined Telescent as Chief Financial Officer. Telescent is a leading provider of Optical Circuit Switches (OCS) and automated fiber patch-panels for data center and network operators. Roots brings extensive experience in financial leadership for venture capital and private equity-backed tech firms and will play a crucial role as the company accelerates growth in hyperscale data center and AI infrastructure markets.
