**Brixton Capital Acquires Civic Center Plaza in San Marcos**

Brixton Capital has acquired the Civic Center Plaza retail center from the City of San Marcos for an undisclosed amount. The property spans approximately 60,000 square feet and comprises four buildings, situated in an affluent area within San Diego’s North County.

Originally developed in 2007 in collaboration with the city, Civic Center Plaza is currently 97% leased. The property is located at 125-157 Twin Oaks Valley Road, at the intersection with San Marcos Boulevard, offering convenient access to both Interstate 15 and State Route 78.

“With a lease in place until 2037 with our anchor tenant and an incredible location, we expect Civic Center Plaza to be a strong performer in our retail portfolio,” said Rob Taylor, President and Chief Investment Officer at Brixton Capital.

The transaction was brokered by Newmark’s Pete Bethea, Rob Ippolito, and Glenn Rudy, who represented the City of San Marcos. Brixton Capital handled the acquisition directly.

This acquisition marks Brixton’s third retail center purchase this year, following the acquisitions of the Petaluma Safeway center in Petaluma and the Elk Grove CVS center in Elk Grove.
