BPR, a leading real estate development company, is currently awaiting approval from the Charlotte City Council for their latest project – a $25 million Residence Inn with 139 rooms. The four-story extended-stay hotel will be situated on 2.7 acres at 7708 University City Blvd and is expected to receive approval before the end of this year. The design and permitting process will take approximately 12 months, with construction set to begin in 2025.

According to a report by the Charlotte Business Journal, BPR has an impressive portfolio of around thirty properties across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. This includes over twelve properties that are currently in various stages of development.

In addition to this new project in Charlotte, BPR also owns four hotels in Greensboro as well as a Residence Inn by Marriott in Winston-Salem and a Hampton Inn by Hilton in Kernersville.

This announcement marks yet another exciting venture for BPR as they continue their expansion into key markets throughout the Southeast region.
