**Coyote Crest Brings 901 New Rental Units to Booming Buckeye**
The town of Buckeye, Arizona, continues to be one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, showing no signs of slowing down. From 2010 to 2020, Buckeye’s population surged by nearly 80%, increasing from approximately 50,000 to 91,500 residents.
In response to this rapid growth, Ward Real Estate & Development has announced a major new housing project: a $270 million residential community named Coyote Crest. The development will include a total of 901 rental units designed to meet a wide range of housing needs. The unit breakdown features 456 traditional garden-style apartments, 170 duplex-style apartments, 170 duplex townhomes, and 275 detached build-to-rent cottages.
The 64-acre Coyote Crest site is located at the southwest corner of Roosevelt Street and Rainbow Road. The gated development will feature three distinct residential components, each with its own entrance and branding: The Cottages at Coyote Crest, The Townhomes at Coyote Crest, and The Flats at Coyote Crest.
Construction is expected to begin by the end of the year, with leasing projected to commence by April 2027. As Buckeye continues its dynamic transformation, Coyote Crest aims to play a key role in supporting the city’s housing demand and offering diverse rental options for future residents.
