Blink Charging Co. has selected Bowie, MD as its global corporate headquarters. The 15,000 square-foot facility will serve as the central hub for operations and will be complemented by a new LEED Gold-certified 30,000 square-foot production facility to meet the increasing demand for EV charging infrastructure.

The facilities are located in Melford Town Center, developed by St. John’s Properties Inc., and are expected to increase production capacity to over 50,000 charging units annually. In addition, Blink plans to establish the Blink Center of Charging Excellence which will provide testing and certification services.

Maryland Governor Wes Moore expressed his excitement about welcoming Blink’s headquarters to Maryland stating that it not only demonstrates their commitment towards climate action but also supports job creation efforts and enhances Maryland’s competitiveness. He further added that together they can achieve their goal of achieving 100% clean energy by 2035 while ensuring economic justice driven by climate justice.
