Berkadia has recently welcomed Hunter Wood as their new senior director in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, Wood will utilize his expertise to arrange debt and equity for multifamily and commercial real estate investors across the nation. His focus areas include D.C., Maryland, and Virginia where he has a strong background in structuring debt and equity deals for various types of properties.

Prior to joining Berkadia, Wood worked at Northmarq where he played a key role in facilitating over $3 billion worth of property transactions spanning different industries. Before that, he was part of WestRock’s Finance Rotational Program – a Fortune 500 packaging company based in Virginia.

Wood expressed his enthusiasm about joining Berkadia’s team that has achieved great success advising CRE clients throughout the greater Mid-Atlantic region. In 2022 alone, they advised over 50 clients with transaction volumes totaling $2.30 billion. He looks forward to working closely with these clients to navigate the complex CRE capital markets on both debt and equity fronts.
