Cloudvue, a proposed mega-project in Bellevue consisting of three skyscrapers, is undergoing changes as reported by the Puget Sound Business Journal. Originally planned as a large office complex, the project has now been reimagined to include more residential units and become a mixed-use development.

The developer behind this project, Stanford Hotels Group, initially intended for two towers to house 1.7 million square feet of office space along with 538 residences and 117 hotel rooms in the third tower standing at 600 feet tall. However, their new plan involves replacing the office towers located at 10855 NE Eighth Street with residential ones while maintaining half of the center tower for both hotel and residential use.

In addition to these modifications, Stanford Hotel Group has also decided to replace a performing arts center with amenities such as a grocery store within a three-level building that will also feature fitness facilities and offices. This shift comes amidst an increase in office vacancies and demand for housing in Seattle and its surrounding areas.
