A planned office building in downtown Bellevue will now be transformed into a 27-story residential tower, according to recent reports from the Puget Sound Business Journal. The project, located at 305 108th Ave NE and previously spearheaded by Seattle-based Capstone Partners and PGIM with Runberg Architecture Group, has shifted its focus towards a mixed-use development.

The new proposal includes approximately 355 apartment units along with retail space across two levels. The first level will feature nearly 3,700 square feet of retail while the second level plans for an additional almost-4,300 square feet of commercial space. This change in direction comes after Capstone Partners and PGIM purchased the site for $32.5 million earlier this year.

Originally intended as a twelve-story office tower with around 194,700 square feet of office space and underground parking for up to354 vehicles,the updated design review submission showcases plans for an impressive high-rise residential complex that is sure to make waves in downtown Bellevue’s rapidly growing skyline.
