**Bacari Restaurants to Open Ninth LA-Area Location in Long Beach**
Los Angeles-based Bacari Restaurants has announced the acquisition of the former Michaels restaurant building, a two-story structure located at 5620 2nd Street in the Belmont Shores neighborhood of Long Beach. The company plans to renovate the venue and launch a new Mediterranean-themed concept—Bacari Long Beach.
This new location will mark Bacari Restaurants’ ninth establishment in the greater Los Angeles area. The group currently operates eight restaurants, with locations in the city of Los Angeles, Silverlake, Culver City, Beverly Hills, Glendale, and Sherman Oaks. The Long Beach expansion is part of Bacari’s ongoing growth, with the opening scheduled for 2026.
“Bacari is focused on creating a place where the community can come together to enjoy good food while being entertained and enjoying the company of others,” said Robert Kronfli, co-founder of Bacari Restaurants. “Bacari Long Beach will be unique with its décor and ambience while offering the same great food as our other locations.”
Blake Kaplan of JLL represented the seller in the transaction, while Leslie J. Mayer of Cushman & Wakefield represented Bacari Restaurants.
