**Monomoy Property Ventures and Axonic Capital Acquire Atlanta Hotel for Major Renovation, Rebranding to Marriott**

Monomoy Property Ventures and Axonic Capital have acquired the hotel at 590 West Peachtree Street in Atlanta, currently operating as a dual-branded Crowne Plaza Atlanta-Midtown and Staybridge Suites Atlanta-Midtown. The 462-key hotel, both properties under the IHG Hotels & Resorts umbrella, is set to undergo a significant capital investment program and will be rebranded under a new Marriott banner.

Schulte Hospitality Group has been selected to manage the property.

The current configuration features shared amenities between the two existing brands, including a fitness center, rooftop pool, and public areas. The hotel also offers oversized guestrooms, with more than 20% of the inventory consisting of suites with full kitchenettes.

Upon completion of the renovation and rebranding, the newly renamed Marriott Atlanta will join the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program. The property will debut upgraded guestrooms, redesigned public spaces, the addition of an M-Club lounge, and refreshed food and beverage offerings.

Strategically located with views overlooking Georgia Tech, Emory Hospital, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and downtown Atlanta, the hotel is poised to become a premier hospitality destination in the city.

Construction is expected to begin in late 2026 following the World Cup events in Atlanta, with a reopening goal set for late 2027, ahead of Super Bowl LXII, which is scheduled to take place in Atlanta.
