Federal Realty has announced that Assembly Row in Somerville will be welcoming World Market as its second location in Massachusetts this year. The new showroom, spanning 18,361 square feet, will occupy the final vacancy at Assembly Square Marketplace and sit next to Ashley Furniture. Other upcoming openings include Good Time Golf (4,804 square feet), a golf simulator and lounge; Pop-Up Bagels (1,395 square feet), the second Boston location of a popular bagel concept; and Verizon Wireless (2,003 square feet).
David Middleton, VP and general manager of Assembly Row stated that with the addition of World Market to the Marketplace lineup alongside other home décor stores such as Ashley Furniture,Bob’s,T.J.Maxx & HomeGoods,and Raymour & Flanigan,the area will offer an extensive range of furnishing options for customers. He also expressed excitement about two new additions – Good Time Golf and Pop-Up Bagels – which are expected to generate buzz among residents,l employees,vvisitors,and neighbors.
Additionally,River Bar,a long-time tenant,is currently undergoing renovations with plans to reopen under a refreshed concept this spring/summer.The newest addition,Cocolee,a Pan-Asian restaurant,is set to open soon.
