The TLR Group has received approval from the local aviation authority to construct a 43-story mixed-use tower in Tampa, just three miles away from the city’s airport. The impressive structure will feature a combination of residential, office, retail and dining spaces.
With 480 apartments, 68,000 square feet of office space and an additional 11,000 square feet for ground-floor restaurants,the tower will offer modern studios as well as one-and-two-bedroom units.
To make room for this ambitious project,Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that TLR purchased a century-old building on Ashley Drive in April of this year at a cost of approximately $20.06 million.The one-acre site is set to be demolished to pave way for the new development.
TLR currently owns and manages sixteen other rental properties throughout Tampa Bay area including Clearwater and Brandon. This latest addition further solidifies their presence in the region.
