Developer JPI has commenced construction on the first phase of Jefferson Loyd Park, a Class A development that will bring 450 multifamily homes to Grand Prairie. The initial phase is slated for completion in January 2025. Phase two of the project, which comprises 352 additional units, is expected to begin late 2023.

The new community will span 25 acres and feature eight 3-story walkup buildings with urban-style architecture. Residents can enjoy amenities such as a resort-style pool with cabanas and a fitness center offering virtual exercise classes along with easy access to Loyd Park and Joe Pool Lake nearby.

Blake Taylor from JPI commented: “Jefferson Loyd Park offers residents an ideal combination of city living combined with proximity to outdoor recreation opportunities at both parks.”

Partners involved in the project include Happy State Bank (lender), Demarest (architect) and Kimley Horn (civil engineering).
