3 Labs, LLC has recently acquired the former Botto’s Bakery located at 550 Washington Avenue for $980,000. The buyer plans to renovate the 9,045-square-foot building and lease out retail suites. This acquisition marks a strategic move for 3 Labs as they expand their operations in Maine.
In addition to this purchase, Botto’s also expanded its operations in Maine by leasing a facility at 5 Karen Drive in Westbrook. This added an additional 5,000 square feet of space to their existing location. Owner Steve Mathews expressed his satisfaction with this expansion stating that it has made them more efficient and increased their production by up to 25%. He also credited Craig Young and Sasha Phillips of The Boulos Company for assisting with the move.
The sale was successfully facilitated by Craig Young and Sasha Phillips of The Boulos Company who represented Botto’s while Josh Soley from MRA represented the buyer.
