**Uptown Boca Retail Center Sells for $118.43 Million**
A four-member investment team has sold the 150,000-square-foot retail portion of Uptown Boca in Boca Raton for $118.43 million. The sellers—Giles Capital Group, Rosemurgy Properties, and Schmier Property Group—developed the project in partnership with Wheelock Street Capital. Stockbridge Capital was the buyer.
Completed in 2020, the seven-building retail center sits on a 19-acre site. This transaction follows the team’s 2021 sale of an adjacent 456-unit apartment complex to Cortland for $230 million.
Uptown Boca features major tenants including Whole Foods (anchor), Bonefish Grill, Sephora, Chick-fil-A, and HomeSense. Luxury fitness club Life Time has also signed a lease and is expected to open later this year.
Stockbridge Capital, the new owner, offers a variety of investment opportunities aimed at both institutional and individual investors. These include open and closed-end funds, as well as joint ventures targeting large-scale investments within select real estate sectors.
