A prominent office building in downtown Memphis is set to undergo a major transformation. The 100 N. Main Development Partners have been awarded the $6.5 million contract for the demolition of this long-vacant tower, which is owned by a public agency.

The developer has been tasked with preparing the building for its highly anticipated re-opening, and work will primarily focus on abatement and interior tear down. This includes installing elevators or a hoist system, providing temporary power and lighting, implementing safety measures, as well as removing debris, waste and mold.
