A leading high-tech manufacturer has acquired a 435,000-square-foot building in Georgetown with plans to expand its workforce by hiring 1,500 employees by the end of next year. The company, ZT Systems, purchased building six in the NorthPark 35 industrial park developed by Titan Development Ltd., located near Georgetown Executive Airport.

ZT is known for providing advanced compute solutions for major cloud and telecom service providers worldwide. According to reports from Austin Business Journal, there is a significant amount of industrial space currently being constructed in the city with much of it already leased out. One such tenant is CelLink Corp., an electric vehicle parts supplier that recently opened its doors at another Titan industrial park nearby and expects to employ up to 2,000 people eventually.

With this new acquisition and expansion plan into Georgetown’s thriving business community alongside CelLink Corp., ZT will quickly become one of the largest employers in town. Currently holding this title is AirBorn Inc., a military and aerospace supplier specializing in high-reliability electronic systems design and manufacturing.
