HED, a leading national architecture, engineering and planning firm, has revealed the design for the second phase of Perceptive Real Estate Equities’ Ardenwood Innovation and Life Sciences Center expansion in Fremont. The new 75,000-square-foot facility will complement the existing 100,000-square-foot built-to-suit space occupied by cancer genomics company Personalis Inc. last October.

According to Tim Schulze, sector leader at HED: “The design showcases an exciting and innovative environment that not only blends with the surrounding area but also elevates it into a dynamic campus.”

Perceptive Real Estate Equities was founded by CEO Mark Pearson as a spin-off from Drawbridge Realty. Its focus is on developing speculative projects that do not align with Drawbridge Realty’s current profile.
