Developer Portman has announced that Starling, the 363-unit luxury residential tower in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood, will welcome Retrograde Coffee and Social Cantina to the building. Scheduled for completion in March 2024, Starling’s first units are set to deliver in January of that same year.

Retrograde Coffee is a popular go-to neighborhood coffee shop which will become the first cafe in Nashville to front the Cumberland River Greenway. The menu includes craft cocktails and weekend brunch with renowned Nashville bartender and bar owner Jamie White curating its bar program.

Social Cantina is a modern Mexican restaurant and tequila bar opening its first Southeast location at Starling as well. Its 5500 square foot space features a massive 100 seat patio overlooking both greenway views as well as baseball stadium sights while offering freshly prepared tacos, bowls salads sizzling fajitas plus an extensive collection of 150 bottles of tequila & mezcal options on their menu .
